This EcoGlide double edge safety razor actually blew away my expectation, especially given the inexpensive price point. The build quality is just superb, again, given the inexpensive price point. The bamboo handle feels substantial, and easyb to hold and manueuver. The razor is sharp and easy to achieve a close shave along every curve and bump of my face. Amazing job for the designer and manufacturer!
I switched to safety razors a few years ago, after getting tired of ever rising prices for disposables. After using this one from EcoGlide, I’ve learned that not all safety razors are the same. My old one is more clunky and top-heavy, something I didn’t notice until using the EcoGlide. I grew up with the traditional clamshell style of razor, and I’m getting to the age where change isn’t a good thing, but I find blade installation on this razor to be easy, and the design saves considerable weight. The assembled razor is rock solid after a hand tightening.The included razor blades have been delivering a consistently smooth shave without irritation and don’t dull any quicker than the other brands I’ve tried. The weight, the feel, and the look of this safety razor are all winners to me, and I am impressed with the quality product NoWasteMan has delivered.
